Lyle Rubin, only 10 years old, competed in the Illinois backgammon championships that took place yesterday, October 21st.
Rubin had already won two Midwest kids championships in backgammon, but apparently they weren't enough for the little one who claims to enjoy the adrenalin that accompanies the throw of a dice...
Rubin didn't get there alone, by the way - his parents competed in higher-level divisions while he played in the novice division.
