MUD – Multi User Dungeon – an adventure shared by masses of players at the same time

Multi-Player – a game played by two or more players simultaneously 

Music Video Game - a video game that centers around the player or players' interaction with also commonly known as a music game, is a video game where the gameplay is meaningfully and often almost entirely oriented around the player's interactions with musical scores, musical instruments or musical pieces.

Newbie/Noob – a derogative adjective used to describe inexperienced players 

Online Game – game played over a computer network or a similar technology
